Linhay
The Linhay is a recently converted farm
building across the yard from the main farmhouse. Downstairs
there is a double room with a lovely modern 4-poster bed the room
also has splendid views across the valley. The adjacent bathroom has
a comfy roll-top bath.
On the other side of the hall there is a twin bedded room with
en-suite shower room. The central staircase leads up to an
open-plan living area, which takes advantage of the handsome exposed
roof trusses. To one side of the stairs is a large living area
with wood burner. To the other side is a dining area, which
leads to a well-equipped kitchen (top of the range wall mounted
oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer etc); A
stable door leading to outside steps. The back door leads out
onto a terraced area, orchard + field which leads down to the pool.
The Linhay is fully centrally heated and has lovely polished wood
floors throughout (except bathroom which is slate with under floor
heating). We have furnished it very well with good mattresses on
handsome beds, old pine furniture and attractive rugs.
Upstairs there is a big squashy sofa to lounge in and comfortable
chairs. We want you to feel you are in a home not a holiday
let.
