About
Pallastreet Farm is tucked away in a beautifully sheltered and
secluded spot and yet is less than 10 minutes from the A30. It is
situated about half a mile from the tiny hamlet of Bradstone, in the
lovely rolling countryside of the Upper River Tamar Valley, on the
Devon/
Cornwall
borders between Launceston and Tavistock. The village of Milton
Abbot, just 2 miles away, has a shop, newsagent, post office and
pub. Launceston is about 5 miles away and has a good Tesco as well
as excellent butcher, fishmonger, baker, greengrocer etc. The old
market town of Tavistock is about 7 miles away and has many old
fashioned specialist shops as well as a cinema, indoor leisure
centre and small theatre. Markets are held in the indoor pannier
market on several days of the week selling antiques, craft and bric
a brac. The
Eden Project is
only 40 minutes drive. Plymouth and Exeter are both about 40 minutes
away.
